30 gifts for 30 days of November - Day 13
Here is the thirteenth of thirty Better Than a Poke in the Eye recommended gifts for the book lover in your life even if that book lover is YOU!
Today's recommendation is Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings.
Jason was recommended the Belgariad series (Pawn of Prophecy is the first of five novels in the sequence) when he was in his late teens. He very quickly fell in love with the adventures of Garion and his mysterious travelling companion.
This is a cornerstone of fantasy literature and shouldn't be missed. Is Garion just a simple farm boy or is he destined to be so much more? Fantasy, Magic and adventure await.
