Newsletter 19 - April 2026 - Better Than a Poke in the Eye

1. Editorial
Welcome to issue 19 - We've been to see a couple of Discworld plays in April and enjoyed them both very much. Both were very enjoyable, and both were approached in very different ways. Its amazing to see how directors interpret scripts and how they manage their cast and stages.
We look forward to seeing Nightwatch in Milford Haven on the 23rd May. In our previous experiences we've enjoyed productions of Nightwatch. We'll get a review written by the end of the month.
I'd like to thank all the Llamedos Holiday Camp campers that sent us review of The Hogs Ball at Llamedos Holiday. We've included four of them in an article listed in section 3 of this newsletter.
On April 28th we remembered Terry, on what should have been his Seventy Eighth birthday, I really wonder what Terry would make of the world we live in now.
On this day we also celebrated that I've been involved with Discworld fandom for thirty years which started with me publishing the first issue of Discworld Review on my website. A year later I started Discworld Monthly the first issue of which was coincidentally published on Terry's birthday.
